SIZE:
 • with the recommended yarn and a crochet hook in size 3.5 the backpack is about 32 cm (=12,6 inch) tall.
But essencially: The size varies depending on the yarn, crochet hook and the way you crochet (tight or loose).

What you need to be able to follow this pattern:

MATERIALS:
• Crochet Hook 3.5 mm
• 7-8 balls of Rainbow Cotton 8/8 from hobbii (50g/75m), Colournumber 13
• Attention: If you want to use other yarn, you should make sure that the weight/length is 50g/75m, as with
  the recommended yarn, because the size of the backpack depends on the thickness of the yarn and the
  thickness of the crochet hook. Remember to crochet firmly!
• Safety eyes diameter: 14 mm = 1,4 cm= 0,55 inch
• Black yarn, for example Catania Originals Schachenmayr (50g/120m) for the nose and eyebrows
• Fiber fill for stuffing the head, legs and arms
• Possibly 5 backpack sliding buckles, 1 backpack buckle and webbing to vary the size of the straps and to
  keep the straps connected, so that the backpack does not slip from the shoulders.
• Fabric in matching colours for the inner bag of the backpack (approx. 70/80 cm x 30/40 cm) and the
   triangular scarf (approx. 34 cm x 22 cm). Both can also be omitted.
• Pencil, scissors, ruler, compass
• Alternative: cord stopper (instructions on how to sew a cord stopper are included)
• A sewing needle with a larger eye for sewing the yarn
• Sewing machine and regular sewing needle with matching sewing thread
